Bold and Colorful Springtime Wedding

We had such a great time working with Stephanie and Scott for their wedding last May! This fun-loving Greenville couple was so sweet, and their wedding day was a blast. Stephanie and Scott had to reschedule their wedding from 2020 to 2021, but they didn’t let that stop them from bringing their wedding dreams to reality.

We also got to make the floral arrangements for this wedding, so when we heard that they wanted jewel tones, we got to work helping to create their vision in flowers. The result was a beautiful, colorful, boho vibe. The Fields at Blackberry Cove was the perfect spot for this vision to come to life, and the day could not have been better.

The Details

Traveling together is a huge part of Stephanie and Scott’s love story. So, of course, they wanted to incorporate that into their wedding details. They used music festivals they've attended together to create their seating chart. Guests put cards into a suitcase displayed on the gift table. Instead of a traditional guest book, they found a way to use an actual globe. And - this is probably our favorite part - they turned their (really cool) VW bus into a photo booth for the wedding! These two had so many elements that made their day unique to them.

The First Look

These two had a quiet, special moment alone, shared together under the trees for their first look. It was exactly what they needed to melt away any nerves and just be together. It was such a sweet, candid moment, and these photos are some of our favorites from the day!

The Ceremony

Guests looked out over the field and on to the beautiful Spring mountainscape. Vintage rugs lined the aisle for the wedding party, and a beautiful floral ground arbor added to the natural beauty of the mountains made for the perfect backdrop. Bold colors and pampas grass welcomed wedding guests in boho style.

This is the setting that Stephanie and Scott had dreamed up, and this is where they said their vows, among friends, family, and nature. Then, their guests celebrated by throwing flower petals as they walked back up the aisle.

The Reception

After the ceremony, it was party time! The barn was decked out with pops of those bold colors seen in the flowers, the drinking glasses, and the vintage emerald couch that completed the sweetheart table and brought the look together perfectly. You could feel the love in all of the unique details that this couple brought in. The photo booth was a big hit with guests, and rightfully so - it was incredible, and so creative!

After dinner, cake, and festivities, the couple and their guests got ready to dance the night away.

The Finale

After roasting marshmallows over the fire, it was time for the grand exit. For a couple that loves to have fun, the sparkler exit was the way to go. They had so much fun with it, and got some amazing photos! Sparkler send offs are always a good time - but this couple kept it going, as they drove off into the night in their vintage bus, waving to their guests with sparklers still in hand, off on a new adventure together.

Congratulations, Stephanie and Scott, and thank you for letting us share the day with you!
