Christina and Jacob

All of us in the Asheville wedding industry look forward to October all year with lots of excitement and a bit of trepidation.  October is by far the busiest month of the year- the brilliant bright Fall colors of the Blue Ridge Mountains lure engaged couples from all over the United States to travel to Asheville to say “I Do”. Christina and Jacob were one of our late October couples and their wedding day did not disappoint! It was a beautiful intimate day that we were honored to be a part of.

Take a peek at a few of their photos from JCM Photography below!

Their ceremony took place at Sky Mountain Events which has an incredible view of the mountains and the city of Asheville. The owner, Melissa, is absolutely lovely to work with. We strongly recommend this venue for anyone looking for an intimate setting.

In addition to coordinating their big day, we also had the pleasure of providing all the florals. The pops of burgundy in the bouquets were the perfect compliment to the bridesmaids dresses.

Our favorite floral touch was the addition of hops in the boutonnières. A nod to the couples love for craft beer and their engagement session at Burial Brewery.

Totally in love with the anemones as the focal flower in the bridal bouquet!

Loose bunches of silver dollar and seeded eucalyptus with trailing burgundy ribbons lined the ceremony aisle.

After the ceremony, the party continued at Homewood for the reception. Trailing greenery lined the front stairs with lanterns inviting guests as they entered the venue.

We had the best time designing the reception tables with a focus of bringing in their colors of burgundy, ivory and navy with the elegance of lush greenery.

As a special touch- the couple named the tables after their favorite places they visited together.

A small fun fact about me- I’m obsessed with macaroons. So when Christina told us about their macaroon tower, I was so excited to see the finished product. As always, 50/Fifty The Art of Dessert, delivered flawlessly.
